Vintage Realism 1940's Irish school oil painting portrait on canvas vintage soap stone bowl measuring 30cm DiameterThis beautiful vintage 1940's Irish art school oil painting portrait,painted during the inter war years in the realism style, popular then, was bought by me a few years ago from an auction in Dublin and has been owned by me since. It is a double sided canvas with another portrait of a lady by the same artist on the reverse of the canvas. It's framed in a plaster moulded vintage frame and is difficult to capture on a photograph due to the reflections
